Descripción
The Reobrix 33039 – Lockheed Martin SR-72 is a building block model of the Lockheed Martin SR-72 hypersonic reconnaissance aircraft. With 2,071 pieces, it creates a detailed static model of the futuristic jet – designed purely as a display model.
The Original – the Lockheed Martin SR-72
The Lockheed Martin SR-72 (also known as the «Son of Blackbird») is a planned unmanned hypersonic reconnaissance aircraft, conceived as a successor to the legendary SR-71 Blackbird. Developed by Lockheed Martin’s famous «Skunk Works» development division, the SR-72 is intended to reach speeds of up to Mach 6 – approximately twice as fast as its predecessor. This is to be made possible by a combined propulsion concept of turbine and ramjet engines. With its extremely sleek, elongated shape, the SR-72 represents the next generation of high-speed aviation.
The Model – Reobrix 33039
The Reobrix model recreates the SR-72 with its characteristic, extremely elongated and flat fuselage shape, as well as the striking air intakes, in building blocks. The model is designed as a static display model – no power set included.
Technical Data
The Reobrix 33039 SR-72 set includes 2,071 pieces made of ABS plastic. Static display model without motor. Recommended for ages 14 and up.
Whether as an SR-72 model for aviation fans or as a building block hypersonic jet for collectors – the Reobrix 33039 is a detailed replica of one of the world’s most futuristic aircraft concepts.
